Loon Lodge

Description

Welcome to Loon Lodge, a luxurious Northwoods escape located on the peaceful shores of Catfish Lake, one of the largest and most coveted lakes on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes, the largest connected freshwater chain in the world. With direct access to all 28 interconnecting lakes, guests can boat, paddle, or fish for miles without ever leaving the water. This upscale retreat is designed for comfort, connection, and relaxation, offering five beautifully furnished bedrooms and five bathrooms, including three private ensuites. The sleeping accommodations are perfect for extended families or large groups, featuring two spacious king suites with private baths, three inviting queen bedrooms—one with an ensuite—and a charming twin bunk nook that’s perfect for kids or teens. Inside, two full kitchens make it easy to host meals and gather together, while multiple living areas and a cozy screened-in porch provide space to spread out, unwind, and enjoy the lake views. Step outside and you’ll be greeted by one of the home’s true highlights: a private, sandy swim area with a gentle shoreline, ideal for young swimmers and sun-seekers. The crystal-clear waters of Catfish Lake invite you to dive off the swim dock, cruise in the paddle boat, or simply float your worries away. Evenings are best spent on the expansive porch or around the lakeside fire pit, watching the sunset paint the sky and listening to the call of the loons. Whether you're seeking adventure on the water or peaceful moments on the shore, Catfish Lake Retreat offers an unforgettable experience in every season.
