Welcome to The Gathering Main House - a beautiful 12-acre Hill Country retreat made for the moments that matter most. Experience this custom home with resort-style amenities, wide-open gathering spaces, and room to truly unwind. Minutes from Wimberley Square, you’ll find soaring ceilings, a grand stone fireplace, a chef-ready kitchen, and outdoor fun for every age - from the sparkling pool and hot tub to pickleball, the Party Barn, fire pits, and a stargazing deck under some of the darkest skies in Texas. This isn’t just a place to stay. It’s where everyone finally gets to be together. The Main House features 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and thoughtful touches throughout. Every bedroom has streaming TVs, and room-darkening shades for deep sleep after big days. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion, plush white towels, and a hair dryer. BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS: Ground level: - Bedroom 1: King bed + Pullout Double Bed Sleeper Sofa. En suite bathroom w/double vanity & walk-in shower. (Sleeps 4) - Bedroom 2: King Bed. Wheelchair accessible - vanity, toilet separated by long curtains for privacy and ease, roll-in shower, exterior door ramps, accessible storage unit. Wheelchair & Shower Chair available by request. (Sleeps 2) - Powder room downstairs off the main living area (1/2 bath). This is where “one more game” turns into a whole evening. - Pickleball dinking court - Basketball goal - Ping Pong - Bluetooth speakers - Mini arcade basketball - Extra outdoor fun (balls, pogo sticks, frisbees, etc.) Disc Golf Course: 6 Hole Course winds through the property Stargazing Deck: The Gathering sits in Wimberley’s certified Dark Sky Community, which means you’ll see constellations, satellites, and the Milky Way with rare clarity... brighter, closer, and more breathtaking than most people remember. Our stargazing deck was built for exactly this: Space to relax, look up and feel small in the best way possible. Bring a blanket. Bring your people. Bring your wish. And watch as something beautiful unfolds. Custom murals: The perfect photo backdrop - "Texas Pride" shows off deer, bluebonnets, Texas flag, and a beautiful hill country sunset. "Winged Magic" is a floral butterfly-wing design, surrounded by flowers and bees. The bees serve as a tribute to the hives managed on the property’s back pasture. THE OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE Start the morning on the Texas-sized porch with coffee and deer in the distance. Spend the afternoon relaxing in the pool, playing pickleball, hanging at the party barn, or exploring Wimberley. Then come back for dinner, a soak in the hot tub, and s’mores by the fire. And when the sun goes down, the sky takes over. The stargazing deck is a guest favorite for a reason - it’s quiet, dark, and absolutely unforgettable. The Main House and Cottage are about 1/4 mile from each other. There are mature trees, a large field (for disc golf) and the pickleball court between each home. This helps ensure guests at both homes have plenty of privacy! - Bikes are fun but not provided. You can bring your own. Golf carts or ATVs are not allowed. - The home is on well water and a septic system. - This property may have other guests on the property (at the Cottage) at the time of your stay. The pickle ball court is shared between the Main House and Cottage. The Cottage does not have access to the pool, hot tub, dinking court, or grill unless the whole property is rented. - Pre-arrival form & rental agreement: We do ask for a copy of your ID as part of our guest screening process after the reservation is confirmed. You will also be asked to sign a rental agreement. Main renter must be over 25 years old. - For liability and security purposes, there are external cameras at the entry gate, on the main house facing the party barn and on the outdoor gazebo facing the pool. The cottage has cameras facing the front walkway. There are NO inside cameras. Hosts may monitor external cameras at any time via a smartphone app, and cameras are not to be tampered with or covered. - When you stay with HOSTIE Vacation Rentals, you are covered for any accidents that might happen up to $5000 with the added fee of $79 in your total. Coverage details are spelled out in your rental agreement. This is applied to all bookings. - CANCELLATION POLICY: The initial deposit is fully refundable up to 30 days prior to your stay, less a 6% processing fee. No refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of check-in. The cancellation policy will be upheld, no exceptions. All guests are encouraged to purchase trip insurance. - Spa Usage and Maintenance Fee: Our property features an above-ground spa for your relaxation and enjoyment. To ensure it remains clean and safe for all guests, we kindly ask you to follow these guidelines: *Proper Use: Please follow all provided instructions for spa use. Avoid using any oils, lotions, or other substances that may contaminate the water. *Hygiene: Shower before using the spa to help maintain water quality. *Drainage Fee: If the spa requires draining and refilling due to improper use or excessive contamination during your stay, a maintenance fee of [$150] will be charged. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the spa in excellent condition for everyone. - OPTIONAL FEES - We offer additional services that may be available for an additional fee (must be pre-approved by the host, non-refundable): * Early Check-In - $35/hour * Late Check-Out - $35/hour - Please note that sightings of common insects or wildlife (such as skunks, snakes, scorpions, spiders, flies, wasps, mice, ants, etc.) do not qualify for refunds, as occasional encounters are possible in any rural environment. - Concierge services available!
