An ecopod or eco-capsule is a small, self-contained living structure built in a sustainable manner. These structures often have a single interior room that is designed for utility. It incorporates sustainable elements in its construction such as certified ecological wood, natural wood preservatives, local materials, the use of recycled materials whenever possible, natural ecological insulation, and a structure powered by renewable energy.
