The StrawCastle is made from straw bales and encased in a breathable cement, making it extremely efficient, keeping warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The thick walls, the vaulted timber ceiling, the lime plaster hand finish and the large, recessed windows give this unit a distinct castle feel. Guest Access
The shower block public and equipped with a solar heating. Therefore, hot water is available during the day. We also have a large collective kitchen that is available for rent for large groups and private events.
