Welcome to The Backhouse @ The Cape, a boutique retreat in the heart of the Historic District, just four blocks from Main Street and Marketplatz. This chic yet cozy bungalow offers modern amenities, a private patio, and a lounge area, providing everything you need for a perfect weekend in Fredericksburg. Ideal for couples or close friends, The Backhouse @ The Cape can be booked alongside The Cape Guesthouse for larger parties. This modern bungalow features one bedroom, one bath, and a cheerful living and dining nook. The sleek kitchenette is equipped with a mini fridge, coffee maker, and plenty of dishes and cutlery for enjoying your takeaway meals. Built in 2019, The Backhouse @ The Cape has been featured in Apartment Therapy. If you need additional space, our second bungalow, The Cape Guesthouse, is available for bookings. Both guesthouses can be rented separately or together to accommodate larger groups. Please note that there are two separate bungalows (The Cape Guesthouse and The Backhouse @ The Cape) on the same property, with a shared driveway and one dedicated parking spot per bungalow. Limited street parking. If you're considering bringing a furry friend along, kindly be aware we do have a $50 pet fee per pet. Please remember to inform us in advance if you plan to bring a pet.
