The Peacock Cottage is located at the heart of the property overlooking the fountain area. The charming one-bedroom cottage features two queen-sized beds, while the living area includes a convenient kitchenette and a pull out-out sleeper sofa for additional guests. The Finch Cottage sits next door to it's twin, the Finch Cottage, making it the perfect getaway for larger families and groups. A pre-authorization of $150 is held on 1 day(s) before arrival and voided on 7 day(s) after departure Easy getaway for grandparents and 2 grandkids. Enjoyed the pool and animal rescue tour. Only one night but beds were comfortable and we took advantage of the air conditioning in the heat! Kitchens are small and minimally stocked but breakfast basket was a real treat! I’d bring paper goods (cups, plates, bowls and plastic ware) so you aren’t having to wash dishes and have enough. Cute little gift shop. Appreciated beautiful grounds and easy drive from SD for a getaway. Grandkids wished we stayed another day…always a good sign!
