If you're looking for something quirky and cosy with some of the best views in Scotland, then Castle View is the place for you. Location, location, location. It's all about the views with this one, which is exactly why the property has been curated in a way that allows you to enjoy every single moment from the upstairs sitting area. The large window and doors offer panoramic views over Dunure Castle, all the way to the Isle of Arran and beyond. This is a 1 bedroom house with the bedroom situated on the ground floor. There is a separate living space down stairs, but the upstairs living area, which includes a sofa bed for 2 extra guests, is what really sets this property apart. A kitchen, downstairs shower room and a conservatory that leads out to your own private garden (again, with stunning views), complete the property. But to be honest, you'll probably never want to leave the upstairs space anyway! Dunure is a stunning little fishing village with it's own working harbour. The house is just minutes walk from the harbour where you can also find a lovely restaurant, pub and gift shop. Just yards away from the house are the incredible ruins of Dunure Castle which is free to walk around and the kids playpark is just across the road for those coming with children (the sofa bed is ideal for kids). You really won't need to leave Dunure if you are here for a couple of relaxing days (you won't even need to drive as everything is walkable - perfect for when you fancy a glass of wine or two!), but if you want to get out to explore, Ayr is only a 10 minute drive North and if you head South, you will come to the beautiful Culzean Castle and it's stunning grounds.
