Sitting back off River Road lies Shady Oak under one of the largest oak trees in Concan. Lots of outside relaxation areas, with a big covered front balcony, a covered back porch and a huge Pavilion with covered seating area, barbeque and picnic tables. There is also a new privacy fence, horseshoes and washer toss for fun. Inside you find an open floor plan, with large living room and comfortable furnishings. An open concept dining area with separate kitchen and table nook. Step down into the master bedroom with two queen beds, while the back bunkroom is large, with a big bathroom and utility room that has washer & dryer. Sheets and towels are not provided, but can be for an additional fee if ordered 2 weeks prior to arrival. Walkable location is the best part! Walk next door to a public swimming pool, go to the Flip Flop store for ice cream or a few doors down have lunch at Hippie Chicks. Only a few minutes to the second crossing to float the Frio River. Ask Andy's to pick you up/drop off for floating the Frio! Great price for a central Concan location.
