The Scandinavian-inspired design of this home features wood floors and cedar ceilings, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The main living area is situated on the second floor, accessible via a short flight of stairs to the front door. The open-plan space features a well-equipped kitchen, complete with a wood-topped breakfast bar seating six on stools. A cozy seating area with couches and easy chairs surrounds the propane cast iron stove, offering views through large windows. Additionally, a dining table with chairs comfortably seats 8 guests. Upstairs, three bedrooms each boast a king bed, with one offering an en suite bathroom. Another bathroom with a tub and shower completes this level. On the lower level, discover another spacious living area featuring large windows offering views of the surrounding woodland. Furnished with a work desk, a sizable sectional corner couch, bean bags, and a TV, this space offers comfort and relaxation. A small kitchenette adds convenience. The bunk-room accommodates 8 in twin-sized bunks, ideal for larger groups or children. Additionally, there is another bathroom and a mudroom, rounding out the amenities of the downstairs unit. With 500 feet of riverfront on the property, it offers a rare opportunity for private access to the tranquil river, located just 250 yards from the cabin. Situated in the Upper Methow Valley near Wilson Ranch and the Methow Community Trail, it's a serene escape just 100 yards from the road. The community trail connects to nearly 200 km of groomed trails, perfect for skiing and biking. Conveniently located, it's a short drive to key trailheads in the North Cascades National Park, ideal for avid hikers. The nearby Mazama Store is a quick 5-minute drive or a 10-minute bike ride away, offering delightful treats and essentials. For more extensive amenities and entertainment, Winthrop is just a 20-minute drive, boasting charming shops, eateries, and cultural attractions, including the Shafer Museum. Throughout the year, Winthrop hosts lively events like the Rhythm and Blues Festival and the Vintage Car Rally, ensuring there's always something exciting to explore. Pet Policy: Please note that while pets are not allowed in this cabin, the owners occasionally bring their own pets during their stays. If you have severe allergies or sensitivities to pet dander/hair, we advise against booking this cabin. Extra Guests & Maximum Occupancy: The nightly rental rate includes accommodation for up to eight guests. Additional guests beyond the included eight are charged at $25 per person per night. The maximum occupancy for the cabin is 12 guests. If you are expecting to need the bunk room please let us know in advance of your stay. Pricing: Please be aware that the nightly rental rate varies based on seasons and weekdays. For an accurate quote, enter your proposed dates. Weekly stays receive a 5% discount, and monthly stays receive a 15% discount, automatically applied to quotes. Amenities at The Inn: Guests of our cabin have access to The Inn at Mazama's outdoor pool (open from Memorial Day to Labor Day) and tennis/pickleball court at 15 Country Road in Mazama. Access to the pool is $10 per guest per day; please check in at the front desk before heading to the pool. Additionally, The Inn offers co-working space and private offices available for daily rental if you require workspace during your stay. Privacy: This cabin shares 9 acres with two neighboring cabins. While the immediate yard area is private, there is ample acreage to ensure privacy and seclusion for all residents and guests.
