Miami Park is a lakefront neighborhood perched on a bluff along Lake Michigan, north of downtown South Haven. The association maintains a stairway and motorized tram (elevator) from the top of the bluff down to the shoreline. With gravel roads, deer and turkey this is a wonderful blend of being remote while featuring beautiful homes. With access to the shoreline, stunning sunsets from the bluff and a lovely drive along Blue Star highway to South Haven or Saugatuck, this is a fantastic location for your home base during your visit. As of late August, the trams bring you down to an sandy area above the waterline, with stairs & steps into the lake at either end of the sandy area Tram Access: Electric trams provide access up and down the 90-foot bluff. They are maintained by the neighborhood association, so availability cannot be guaranteed during your stay. Trams may be temporarily closed for maintenance, repairs, or battery charging. Please follow the posted operating instructions to help keep them available for all guests and residents.
