This 2 bedroom, 2 bath half-duplex offers super quick access to the Atlantic Ocean for fishing, snorkeling, and other water activities of the beautiful Florida Keys. The home has comfortable, updated furnishings including a reclining sofa and two reclining chairs. The home is bright and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a screened porch with a table and chairs to enjoy a meal outside without the bugs biting! There is a 30 foot step-down dock for your boat, a fish cleaning table with water, and a bait freezer provided for your use. The master bedroom has a king bed and the guest bedroom has a queen bed. WIFI internet and Cabana Club membership. The house is located at the end of 4th Street so there is very little idle time to get out to the ocean. You can also fish right from the dock. There is plenty of parking for a trailer and 2 vehicles. **Pets are not allowed** Key Colony Beach is located at MM 53.5 at the northern end of Marathon. The Islands of Marathon span about 15 miles in the Middle Keys, halfway between Key West and Key Largo. The historic Island of Pigeon Key is located at the north end of the 7-mile bridge with its 65-foot high span. The bridge offers easy access to the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic Ocean. The Island of Marathon is a bird watcher's paradise - spot roseate spoonbills, bald eagles, great blue herons, and much more native to the region. The Marathon Wild Bird Center is located at Crane Point Hammock, a hardwood hammock and natural history museum. Kayak and explore the miles of tunnels under the mangroves. Snorkel and dive beautiful natural reefs. We have both shallow and deeper reefs and wrecks for more advanced divers. Every type of saltwater angling is available here! See dolphin and sea turtles in the wild or stop by the Dolphin Research Center or Turtle Hospital for a tour. Or just relax on the beach and enjoy doing nothing!
