Set in the peaceful village of Branthwaite, on the edge of the Lake District National Park, The Coach House offers the perfect balance of countryside tranquillity and easy access to some of Cumbria’s most beautiful landscapes. The welcoming Wild Duck pub is just a short walk away, while the historic market town of Cockermouth is only a 10-minute drive, offering a fantastic selection of independent shops, cafés and restaurants. You’ll also be perfectly placed to explore the stunning lakes, mountains and walking trails of Buttermere, Cogra Moss, Whinlatter Forest and Keswick, making The Coach House an ideal base for both adventure and relaxation. The Coach House is set within the grounds of our home but enjoys its own private entrance, patio, hot tub and Scandinavian BBQ hut, making it feel completely private and self-contained. The open-plan mezzanine sleeping area is best suited to couples or small families with up to two children. Quiet hours are between 10:00pm and 7:00am. We kindly ask guests to be considerate of our neighbours, particularly when using the outdoor areas. EV charging is available on site (charges apply).
