Onomichi is a nostalgic town of steep slopes, winding alleys, and charming views of the Onomichi Channel. Writers and artists have long been inspired by its “miniature garden” landscape. Historic temples like Senkōji and Jōdoji dot the city, and the night view from Senkōji is recognized as a Japan Night View Heritage site. From our property on the hillside, enjoy sweeping views of the town and sea. This property is a renovated traditional Japanese house. To preserve its original charm, some features such as the kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and interior elements (floors, walls, wooden pillars, etc.) remain in their original, traditional style. It is designed to let guests experience the warmth and atmosphere of old Japan. We kindly ask for your understanding of these characteristics. Please use nearby coin-operated parking lots. This property has no front desk. All check-in details, including the address and exterior photos, will be sent to you via message on the day of your arrival. After your reservation is confirmed, you will be asked to complete a guest registration form and upload a photo of your government-issued ID. Check-in: 3:00 PM | Check-out: 10:00 AM Please adhere to these times, as we need to clean for the next guest. No smoking inside the unit. Parties are strictly prohibited. No pets allowed. No Cleaning During Your Stay: For multi-night stays, we ask that you reuse the towels provided and use the in-room washing machine if needed. Guest Registration (Required by Japanese Law): All hosts must collect guest information, including name, home address, occupation, and stay dates. If you do not have a home address in Japan, we are required to obtain a copy of your passport, including nationality and passport number. CCTV/Security Camera: For guest safety and to assist with self-check-in, the unit is monitored by CCTV. This is a legal requirement for hotels and short-term rentals.
