This charming condo at Hideaway Bay makes it easy for you to enjoy everything that makes Little Gasparilla Island so special. You get free mainland parking and a water ferry to the island. We also offer our free concierge service to meet you at the dock and help transport your luggage and groceries to the condo. The heated pool lets you enjoy sunbathing and swimming year round! Please note that Little Gasparilla Island is a barrier island accessible only by boat. You cannot drive your vehicle to the island; you park on the mainland where you catch the ferry. There are no stores, bars or restaurants on Little Gasparilla which means it has retained much of its "old Florida" ambiance and pristine beauty. For years Little Gasparilla was visited only by locals who would come on weekends to fish, go to the beach and enjoy the privacy, peace and quiet. Now, even though it has been discovered, the lack of commercial establishments means that the island appeals to those who want to get away from crowds, tourists, traffic and technology. Hideaway Haven is tastefully decorated and features a queen bed in the downstairs master bedroom and a queen and two twin size beds in the spacious upstairs bedroom. The living room offers a large flatscreen TV hooked up to DirecTV. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking everything from a casual lunch to Thanksgiving dinner and comes with all utensils and all pots and pans. All linens are provided including beach towels. There is also a washer and dryer provided for your convenience and we supply laundry soap as well. The cottage is just a short walk from the beautiful Gulf beaches. There is casual dining on the front porch which has lovely views of the tropical landscaping. Hideaway Bay also offers trash removal service, so you do not have to take your trash back to the mainland with you. The owners also provide use of their kayak. WiFi - complimentary. Speeds adequate for web-browsing, emails, social media, but not games or streaming. Pet Policy - No pets permitted. Minimum Renter Age - 25 Damage Protection - The $59 charge listed as a "management fee" on your quote covers your purchase of $2500 of “all risk” damage protection coverage on your rental property. This protection is purchased in lieu of a cash damage deposit. Coverage details are spelled out in your contract. Complimentary water ferry - dock slips are also available on first come, first serve basis (21.5 ft max) Satellite TV - yes Grill Type - charcoal Coffee- Drip (filters provided) Parking - complimentary on the mainland. You can NOT drive to the island. We must have your vehicle information in advance to pre-register you with the mainland parking. Holiday surcharges- applied for reservations for Independence Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day,Thanksgiving, and Christmas/New Years timeframes. PLEASE NOTE THAT MINIMUM NIGHTLY STAYS MAY BE INCREASED FOR THESE DATES AS WELL. The island is only accessible by boat. You must park your car at the mainland (complimentary parking). There are no stores or retaurants on the island, but we have an on island guest services manager if you need anything during your stay. Grocery delivery services and a wood fired pizza delivery is available on the island.
