Good to know

Palm Cove Hideaway is located in a peaceful residential neighbourhood and is intended for relaxing holidays. Parties, events and gatherings are not permitted, and only registered guests may stay at the property. Pets: Approved pets are welcome with prior arrangement. A pet cleaning fee applies and must be paid before arrival. Travelling with an infant: A travel cot is available on request for $25 per stay. Please request this in advance so we can have it ready for your arrival. Longer stays: For stays of more than 14 nights, a mandatory mid-stay cleaning of $299 applies. This helps us maintain the home to a high standard throughout longer stays. Daily housekeeping is not included. Additional cleaning and fresh linen can be arranged for an extra fee. A starter supply of household essentials is provided for your arrival. Guests staying longer may need to purchase additional supplies during their stay. As Palm Cove has a tropical climate, you may occasionally encounter geckos, insects and other local wildlife, particularly outdoors.

Guest Access

Guests have exclusive use of the entire home, including the fully fenced backyard, outdoor entertaining area, BBQ and laundry. Self check-in makes arrival simple and flexible, and free on-site parking is available. Make yourself at home and enjoy Palm Cove Hideaway as your own private tropical base throughout your stay.

House Rules and Terms

✔ Guest Limit: The home is for registered guests only (as per your booking). No parties or events. ✔ Visitors: Visitors are not permitted without prior approval. Please contact your host if you’d like to have visitors at the property. Exceeding the guest limit, including infants and children, without prior written permission, may result in booking termination. ✔ Cleaning: Mid-stay cleaning and linen changes are available for an additional fee. Please contact us if you wish to schedule a Mid-stay clean or linen change. If the home is left in an unreasonable state, excess cleaning fees may apply. ✔ Respect the Peace: This is a tranquil retreat within a peaceful community. No loud noise or parties. Quiet hours are 10 PM – 8 AM. ✔ No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited, including all outdoor areas. ✔ Keys: If keys are lost or misplaced, replacement costs apply, plus a call-out fee if someone is required to attend the property. ✔ Complimentary items provided: We provide complementary items for use during your stay. For sustainability the amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand lotion) bottles are reused for environmental reason, so please do not throw these out if low or empty. If you enjoyed using the products that we provide and would like to take some home, please reach out so that we apply the cost of to your stay and arrange replacements for the next guest. Please be advised that a charge will apply if you take the amenities bottles. ✔ Damages: If any damage occurs (we understand accidents happen!), please let us know right away so we can arrange repairs or replacements before the next guests arrive. ✔ Long Stays (30+ nights): Guests booking 30 nights or more must review and sign a long-stay rental agreement prior to arrival. The agreement includes periodic property inspections and other conditions specific to extended stays. By confirming the booking, guests agree to comply with all terms outlined in the long-stay agreement, or must cancel their reservation immediately if they do not accept these terms after review. ✔ Security Cameras: Security cameras are located at the entry points to the property to ensure guest safety and the security of the home. Cameras must not be covered, disconnected or tampered with at any time. 🐾 Pet Rules

We kindly ask that you refrain from having pets indoors throughout your stay. However, if this is not possible, please follow the rules below to ensure a comfortable and clean environment for everyone

✔ No Pets on Furniture or Beds For hygiene and comfort, pets are not allowed on any furniture or beds. This helps us maintain a clean and allergen-free space for all guests. ✔ Provide a Pet Bed or Sleeping Area Please bring appropriate bedding or a crate for your pet. Pets must have their own designated sleeping space and are not permitted to sleep on the furniture or beds. ✔ Clean Up After Your Pet – Indoors and Outdoors Accidents happen—if they do, please clean up promptly and thoroughly. Also, kindly pick up any pet waste left outdoors. Waste bags and cleaning supplies are guests responsibility. ✔ Prevent Excessive Barking or Noise We ask that you keep noise to a minimum to respect our neighbors and maintain a peaceful environment. Continuous barking or disruptive behavior is not permitted. ✔ Pet Owners Are Responsible for Any Damages Guests are fully responsible for any damage or additional cleaning required due to their pets. Please supervise your pet at all times to help avoid any issues. ✔ Extra Cleaning Costs Any extra cleaning required after your stay due to pet-related messes or odors will be charged to the guest.
