The Canvas is a thoughtfully decorated apartment where colours, textures and carefully chosen details come together to create a distinctive Milanese home. Deep green walls, warm wood, mustard-yellow seating and burgundy accents give the interiors a welcoming character, while exposed ceiling beams reflect the building’s traditional charm. The living area combines a comfortable sofa, a dining table and an open kitchen, making it easy to share breakfast, prepare dinner or unwind after exploring Milan. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, cookware and tableware. The separate bedroom features a queen-size bed, a decorative metal bed frame and coordinated fabrics, offering a comfortable retreat for two. The bathroom has an unconventional layout, arranged across two separate areas: one contains the toilet and other sanitary fixtures, while the shower is in a separate area. Set on the first floor of a traditional Milanese "casa di ringhiera", the apartment is reached by stairs, with no lift. From the staircase, a shared exterior balcony walkway overlooking the courtyard leads to the entrance—one of the characteristic features of these historic homes. Air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, a washing machine and TV add everyday comfort. Bed linen, towels, toiletries and a hair dryer are provided. Stay along the Naviglio Grande, in one of Milan’s most distinctive neighbourhoods. The Navigli bring together canal-side scenery, traditional courtyard buildings and a lively mix of cafés, restaurants and independent shops. Enjoy a morning walk beside the water, stop for coffee or return in the evening for a classic Milanese aperitivo. The neighbourhood takes on a particularly lively atmosphere around sunset, when its bars and restaurants fill with locals and visitors. Follow the canal towards the Darsena, Milan’s historic dock, then continue into the Ticinese district to explore its boutiques and the area around the Basilica of Sant’Eustorgio and the Colonne di San Lorenzo. It is a lovely base for travellers who want to combine Milan’s major sights with the everyday pleasures of a neighbourhood full of character. The apartment is located on the first floor, with no elevator. Early or late check-in, late check-out, and additional sets of bed linen or towels may be available for a small extra fee, payable upon arrival. Pets are not permitted. In accordance with Italian regulations, all guests are required to complete the online registration process and provide a valid identity document before check-in. Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the apartment or the building. As the property is located in a quiet residential setting, we kindly ask guests to keep noise to a minimum and respect the neighbours. Instructions for recycling in Milan will be provided upon arrival.
