About the Home

La Ferme de Beaumont is a family-friendly, comfortable farmhouse, fully and recently renovated, located in a peaceful natural setting near Carentan. The house is laid out as follows: On the ground floor: a welcoming entrance hall leads to a large living area. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped, perfect for preparing meals, and the spacious dining area is ideal for enjoying convivial moments. The lounge features a large 17th-century fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings. A bathroom with WC completes this level. Upstairs: three comfortable bedrooms await, each with a double bed. Two of them are en-suite suites with bathroom, bathtub, and WC, offering privacy and comfort. Outside: the property has extensive grounds, including an orchard and meadow, perfect for enjoying nature and relaxing in peace. A garage is also available. This farmhouse combines rustic charm with modern comfort. Its peaceful setting allows for a true disconnection, away from stress, pollution, and screens. It is ideally located for visiting the D-Day sites (Utah Beach), the bird reserve, and Mont-Saint-Michel.

Good to know

The barbecue will almost certainly be your main activity!!! A large fireplace is available, with plenty of firewood, and butchers and fishmongers nearby… There is no TV, but the internet connection works perfectly. Bed linen, towels, and made-up beds on arrival are included in the price.

Nestled in a peaceful and green setting, this accommodation is the perfect base for exploring the Normandy countryside. Enjoy walking or cycling in the Cotentin and Bessin Marshes Regional Natural Park, close to the Park Visitor Center. The tranquil surroundings allow you to unwind, while still being near local shops and cultural sites such as the Normandy Victory Museum and the Church of Saint-Côme-et-Saint-Damien in Angoville-au-Plain. It’s the ideal retreat for a stay that is both peaceful and authentic.

Guest Access

You will have full access to the house and garden, which are entirely private. The meadow may contain horses or donkeys. Occasionally, someone may come by to care for the animals to ensure their well-being.
