The Neighborhood
Manchester is one of Pittsburgh's most historic neighborhoods and this street in particular is located in a Historic district. There are incredible buildings built in the late 1800s up and down the street. Western Ave which is only a few blocks away features great dining, and a few locally owned shops. The Children's museum of Pittsburgh is also located within walking distance, as are both Stadiums and the National Aviary. There is beautiful Park; Allegheny Commons as well as the equally historic "Mexican War Street" and Randy-land. The neighborhood is certainly Urban and you will experience all of the sights and sounds of the City. Although the street is relatively quiet there are always people coming and going, everyone is friendly and will say hello.
