Requests are subject to availability; a few days' notice gets you the better chef. BEACH CLUBS - Reservations are subject to each club's availability, day rates, menus and minimum consumption, paid directly to the club. Outside food and drink are not permitted at any of them. The Neighborhood
La Veleta is where Tulum went when the beach road filled up. It's a grid of shopping, specialty coffee, and the restaurants locals book rather than the ones on lists. Walk to Asian Bodega, El Bodegon Tapas and Improv Pizza. Ocala sits inside Eek Residencial, gated and quiet, with the whole neighborhood within moments: bakeries, yoga studios, a supermarket, and some of the best cooking in Tulum within a 10-minute walk. Car service if you need it is quick and easy to book. Tulum centro and Aldea Zama are minutes away and the beach is 8 — close enough for a morning swim, far enough that the night stays quiet. Cenote clubs and Lagoons also near. Perfect home base for your group trip. Worth knowing: the streets around Ocala are fully paved, straight onto the main road. Much of La Veleta is not, and it is the difference between arriving easily and arriving eventually.

Most clubs run a minimum consumption in place of an entry fee; we set out each one's terms in advance so nothing is negotiated on the sand.
