About the Home
A garden house on the ground floor, which at Aflora means the jungle sits at eye level rather than below you. Three bedrooms, each with a king bed. Doors open directly onto a private garden terrace. The kitchen is full size and properly equipped: refrigerator, oven, gas range, coffee, cookware for a group that intends to cook rather than order in. Dining for six. Living space that seats everyone at once, perfect for your group. Beds feature in hotel linen with duvets. Artisan soap in each bath, made in the yucatan peninsula. Jungle Luxe standard, in every property we manage. Air conditioning throughout. High-speed Wi-Fi that holds a Zoom call and streams at night. Smart TVs. Non-transferable, no cash value, not exchangeable for other items or for beverages beyond what it includes. Anything further is charged at the restaurant. BEACH CLUBS - Reservations are arranged by our concierge and are subject to each club's availability, menus, day rates and minimum consumption, paid directly to the club. The Neighborhood
Aldea Zama sits about halfway between downtown Tulum and the sea - five minutes to either, stranded at neither. It is a master-planned community and it shows: pedestrian paths, mature trees left standing, contemporary architecture, and a quiet that surprises people who expected Tulum to be louder. Within a walk: boutiques, specialty coffee, wine bars, a bakery, a supermarket, gyms, and several of the better restaurants in town. Most of what you need for a week is inside a fifteen-minute stroll, which is not true of much of Tulum. One honest note. Aldea Zama is walkable for dining and shopping, not for the beach. Tulum's beachfront is its own strip, and reaching it means a short ride. Bike, scooter, taxi, or car all work, and our team arranges it. The jungle is still here. A third of Aflora's land was left standing, and you hear it at night.

Consider your first morning handled - one breakfast per guest at Panza during your stay, with fresh juice or coffee. BEACH - In Tulum the best beaches sit behind private clubs. We hold direct relationships with ten of them, Nomade, Gitano, Hotel Panamera and Umi among them. Reserve your beach day in the guest guide we send after booking, or just message us. Most clubs run a minimum consumption: a set food-and-drink spend in place of an entry fee. Amounts vary. Through October many ease or waive it; in high season they firm up. We set out each club's terms ahead, so there is nothing to negotiate on the sand. Outside food and drink are not permitted. There are public access points too, and a few hotels keep theirs open. We will tell you which are worth it, with honest notes on chairs and crowds.
