Stocked with plush towels, robes, a hair dryer, iron/board, and high-quality bath amenities, this space is designed for relaxation. Kitchenette: Enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, sink, dishware, and complimentary Hill Country–roasted coffee. A chic bistro nook is the perfect place to savor your morning brew or a glass of wine. Living Area: Lounge on the sofa or reading chair in the open-concept living room, complete with vaulted ceilings, Roku TV, and the warmth of a double-sided gas fireplace — a cozy backdrop for both quiet nights in and special occasions. Courtyard: Step outside to your private courtyard retreat, featuring a hot tub, fire pit, outdoor seating, Roku TV, and the second side of the double fireplace. The Neighborhood

The Hideaway is set on what was once an 1880s homestead, offering a quiet Hill Country escape just one mile from Fredericksburg’s historic Main Street. Guests love being close to wineries, restaurants, and boutique shops — while still enjoying the peace and privacy of their own retreat. Out back, you’ll find open fields perfect for sunset views and a tranquil Hill Country atmosphere.

Guest Access

You’ll have the entire guesthouse and private courtyard to yourself. This includes the bedroom with en-suite bathroom, living room, kitchenette, and the outdoor retreat with hot tub, fire pit, and double-sided fireplace. For parking, there is free parallel streetside parking directly in front of the property, a short walk from The Hideaway’s front door — making arrival simple and stress-free.

House Rules and Terms

NO SMOKING

- Smoking is prohibited inside and outside the premises. This includes the use of tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, etc. Failure to follow this rule will result in a $200 fine.

HOT TUB

- No bath bombs, oils, salts or bubbles of any kind inside the hot tub. Nothing should be added to the water. If the hot tub is found in any condition where these products were used during your stay, there will be an additional $200+ cleaning fine, depending on the condition of the hot tub.

PET POLICY

- Up to 2 pets are welcome for a flat $75 fee per pet. - Service Animals specially trained to perform tasks for handlers with disabilities who require assistance with daily tasks are welcome for no fee. Disclosure of Service Animals is appreciated.

PROPERTY DAMAGES

-We appreciate disclosure of damages caused to property being made to us at the time they occur. Reasonable repair or replacement costs based on the item(s) replacement value and/or labor and materials to repair will be assessed and charged to the guest.

QUIET HOURS

-Quiet hours are 10 PM - 7 AM, and enforced by the city of Fredericksburg police department.

-If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Hours

- 1st Offense, without Police being dispatched: Will result in a $250 fine - 2nd Offense and/or Police are dispatched: Will result in an immediate eviction with no refund + $250 fine
