House Rules and Terms

Noosa Council Code of conduct for guests

As hosts we are obliged to enforce the below code of conduct, and if a complaint is made we are required to address it with our guests within 30 minutes (24/7). Any complaints received after hours (outside Mon-Fri 9-5pm) will incur a $250 fee. Breaches could lead to eviction and suspension of our letting licence. If guests are evicted due to breaching the code of conduct no refund will be given.

Vehicles to be stored to not cause a nuisance or inconvenience to adjoining premises, and be parked within parking facilities on the premises where provided. One car space is available. Use of the premises, including any outdoor area of the premises, for example, an outdoor entertainment area, deck, balcony, swimming pool or spa, must not— detrimentally affect the residential amenity (including but not limited to noise, overlooking or light spill) enjoyed by residents adjoining or in the vicinity of the premises; or cause a nuisance (including a noise nuisance); or display unacceptable behaviour (for example loud aggressive behaviour; yelling, screaming, arguing; excessively loud cheering, clapping or singing; or create a level of noise which is in excess of the acceptable levels described by Queensland Government legislation for environmental protection (noise). An occupant of the premises must not sleep or camp on the premises in a tent, caravan, campervan or similar facility. The maximum occupancy is 2 guests per bedroom. The number of occupants must not exceed 4 guests in total. Pets occupying the premises (where allowed) must be managed and not cause a nuisance (including a noise nuisance). General waste (including the separation of recyclable waste) must be placed in a waste container. The grounds of the premises are kept in a safe and tidy condition.

GENERAL HOUSE RULES

As a Superhost, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful family memories in our cozy home, whilst keeping our neighbors happy and the apartment in great condition for all our guests. We would truly appreciate it if you could accept our house rules, and thank you in advance for your cooperation! ● Strictly no schoolies or groups. ● We reserve the right to decline reservations that we do not feel comfortable with. ● Kindly remove your shoes indoors please to keep sand outside. Please make use of the outdoor shower upon return from the beach. ● Please refrain from rearranging the furniture. ● This accommodation is for residential purposes only, functions or parties (big or small) are strictly not permitted and penalties apply. ● You are holidaying in a residential area, in a complex mostly occupied by permanent residence. Please be mindful not to disturb our lovely neighbours. Strictly no excessive noise at any time and especially after 9pm. ● Pool hours are strictly 8am-8pm only, and the pool is only available for registered guests. ● Sadly additional charges will be applied to your booking if we receive a noise complaint and security is called. If you do not reduce the noise level at this time, authorities and Airbnb may be contacted for your removal off the property should noise complaints be received. NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN should you be asked to leave due to breaking the house rules. ● Please don’t hang belongings over the balcony, and don’t leave personal items such as towels, clothing or inflatable toys around the pool or water’s edge. ● The number of occupants must not exceed 4 guests in total, and only one car space is available. ● The owner will not be responsible for any injury suffered to a guest, or visitors of a guest. ● All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian ● Children and infants must be under active supervision by a parent or guardian, at all times. All responsibility and duty of care for them must be provided by you. ● We want you to enjoy the pool area, but to avoid injury, please no bombing or running. Children are not allowed in the gated swimming pool area without an adult actively supervising in the space for safety. No drinking glasses or bottles are to be taken into the pool area - only plastic items allowed. ● Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 10am. ● Any sports equipment, baby equipment or toys supplied are there for your enjoyment but used at your own risk. The host cannot be held liable for any injuries sustained from using the equipment.

Extra fees

*An extra cleaning charge of $50 applies to all bookings departing on a public holiday due to the increased cost of labor. *If guests are found to have had a party resulting in extra cleaning, guests will be charged for extra cleaning accordingly. *Upon departure BBQ is to be cleaned please, if used. An additional charge of $40 will be applied if it is left dirty. *Please take great care not to lose the keys or garage remote. Loss or damage will incur additional charges. *If you leave property behind on departure, we are happy to send it back to you for a minimum charge of $25 covering postage and our time to retrieve and send the items *Emu holiday has a selection of baby equipment available to hire.
