Quiet 1 BR bungalow with Salt Pool & Sea View (R2)

WIFI, WATER & ELECTRICITY: included in the rental fee for stays less than 4 weeks. PLEASE DO NOT KEEP THE AIR CONDITIONERS RUNNING while you are out of the house. To conserve electricity for the sake of the island environment, and to keep the booking costs low, please do not leave the air conditioners running when you leave the property. This also puts a drain on the power grid, which is susceptible to power outages. Stays over 4 weeks pay EXTRA for electric, cost is 6.5 baht/unit. As this is a developing island, there are occasional power outages. Keep your devices charged up as much as possible! DRINKING WATER: You may drink the water from the taps. It comes from a 200 meter deep well on the property, has undergone testing for potability, and goes through 3 filters to remove hard minerals. CLEANING: We do not include mid-week cleaning in the booking cost. If you would like to hire a cleaner to come to the house, please ask Sarah and she will arrange it. Cost is 500 baht per visit to clean entire home, empty garbages and change linens. The house has cleaning supplies and there is a shared washer & dryer on the premises, behind Villa 4. You may also hang your laundry on the line in the backyard or on your back porch. CLEANLINESS OF PROPERTY: Your home is sanitized with Dettol liquid and sprays before you arrive, especially heavy touchpoints. The mattresses and the air conditioners are professionally cleaned and sanitized every 3 months, and pest control visits once a month. SMOKING: Smoking only permitted on your own porch or in garden/pool deck, NO SMOKING or vaping inside the house. POOL: There is no lifeguard on duty and no fence around the pool. There are also various steps and surfaces which may become slippery when wet. If you have small children, please monitor them at all times in the common spaces. The monsoon season may affect pool use, as the heavy rains can temporarily affect the pH balance of the pool. PARTIES: We encourage you to enjoy the property with your friends. However, we reserve the right to politely ask visitors to quiet down or leave if they become a disturbance to other guests or neighbours. COMMON SPACES: Please feel free to use all areas of the Deck, Lookout and Gardens. GARBAGE & RECYCLING: There are extra garbage bags in your Villa. You may empty the garbage & recycling into the large bins next to the property entrance. There is no public garbage collection in this neighborhood, but we pay a private service to collect the garbage several times a week. SECURITY: This is a very safe neighbourhood, on a small dead-end street, with a mix of Thai and foreign families. We have never had a problem with any crime or theft here. The gates and sensor lights around the property offer extra safety.
