Featuring authentic medieval-inspired interiors with modern comforts, the house accommodates up to 15 guests and is perfect for families, friends, and larger groups. Located in the heart of Visby, you'll be just steps away from restaurants, shops, and historic attractions. Visby is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Northern Europe, famous for its city wall, cobblestone streets, merchant houses, and rich history dating back to the 12th century. Inspired by this remarkable heritage, this unique three-story house has been carefully designed to let you experience the atmosphere of the Middle Ages while still enjoying the convenience of modern comforts. The house is spread across three floors, each offering its own unique character. First Floor; Modern Comfort Here you'll find a spacious living room with comfortable seating and a TV, offering the perfect place to relax after a day exploring Visby. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for cooking at home, including an oven, stovetop, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, cookware, and tableware. This floor also features two bedrooms: One bedroom with a bunk bed for two guests. One bedroom with two single beds and generous storage space. The large bathroom includes a shower, toilet, washbasin, washing machine, tumble dryer, and additional seating area. Second Floor; The Medieval Hall Climb the stairs and step back hundreds of years into the true heart of the house. Exposed timber beams, handcrafted details, and authentic medieval décor create an unforgettable atmosphere. The highlight is the impressive medieval banquet hall, complete with a grand wooden dining table, royal-style chairs, a medieval-inspired bar where you can play bartender for the evening, and several cozy seating areas that invite everyone to gather together. This floor also offers two bedrooms: One bedroom with a bunk bed for two guests. One larger bedroom with a bunk bed plus two single beds, accommodating up to four guests. There are also two smaller bathrooms; one with a shower and one with a toilet and washbasin. Third Floor – The Loft A narrow staircase leads to the charming loft, offering an authentic glimpse into how people once lived beneath the rooftops of medieval houses. The loft features three beds: Two double beds One single bed You'll also find a compact kitchenette with a stovetop and sink, along with another bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet, washbasin, and a small washing machine. Please note that this is a historic-style property with many stairs, including a narrow staircase leading to the loft, making it less suitable for guests with limited mobility. You'll live right in the center of the old town, within a short walking distance to access everything that Visby has to offer; the sea, the fantastic botanical gardens, the great cathedral, museums, bars, shops and restaurants. Terms and Conditions 1. Guest Policy: Only registered and confirmed guests are permitted to stay at the premises. The accommodation reserves the right to cancel a booking in the event of misconduct, disruptive behavior, or violation of accommodation policies. 2. Rental Policy: The unit may only be rented and used for leisure purposes and is not intended for permanent residence. Guests must adhere to the check-in and check-out times specified by the host, with any exceptions requiring prior agreement. Parties and unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited, and only the guests listed in the booking are allowed in the unit. Additionally, filming and recording are not permitted without prior written approval from the host. 3. Liability for Damages and Deep Cleaning: Guests are responsible for maintaining the accommodation and its facilities in good condition. Any damage, breakage, or loss caused by the guest, whether accidental or intentional, shall be the full financial responsibility of the guest. The accommodation reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for the cost of repair, replacement, or lost items. Additionally, a deep cleaning fee of SEK 2,500 will be applied if excessive cleaning is required due to guest actions. 4. Internet Access: Complimentary wireless internet is provided for guests. The accommodation is not liable for any disruptions or security risks associated with internet usage. 5. Quiet Hours Policy: Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily to maintain a peaceful environment for all residents and neighbors. The accommodation is equipped with a disturbance detection system that monitors and alerts management to any violations related to excessive noise or smoke. Guests are required to comply with this policy to ensure the safety and well-being of all occupants. Non-compliance may result in penalties, including additional charges or potential eviction. 6. No Smoking Policy: The accommodation is a strictly non-smoking establishment, including the use of electronic cigarettes and vaping devices. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodation, on balconies, and outside the entrance. Violations of this policy may result in additional cleaning fees and possible eviction without a refund. 7. Forgotten items: Guests are responsible for any damages or missing items. 8. No Illegal Activities: The property may not be used for any illegal activities, including prostitution and drug use. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate eviction, the involvement of law enforcement, and forfeiture of any refund. 9. Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed on the premises. Any violation may result in additional cleaning fees or penalties. 10. Footwear Policy: Guests are required to refrain from wearing shoes inside the accommodation to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
