Welcome to Casa Alegria, a vividly colorful house in the heart of Sta Fe & a stone's throw from the beach. Its lush tropical garden creates a serene haven where butterflies and bird come by numerously. I have made its interior design reflecting inspirations from my previous travels in Sri Lanka and Mexico, blending their colors & architectural shapes. This home merges local charm with global aesthetics, making it a perfect retreat for travelers seeking both tranquility and cultural vibrancy.
About the Home
Every thoughtful detail is crafted to enhance the uniqueness of your stay. The semi-outdoor kitchen, nestled among lush foliage, infuses a tropical zest into your culinary adventures. Our outdoor bathroom, with its shower integrated into a coconut tree, offers a day-long connection with nature. In the front, encircled by vibrant gardens, the two-person bathtub with both hot and cold water options provides the perfect sanctuary to relax with a glass of wine after a day full of discovery, all while basking in the beauty of your floral haven. The house is designed with panels on every side that open to welcome the breeze, offering a natural cooling effect. Our indoor and outdoor gardens, cultivated with love, are a haven for birds and butterflies, enveloping you in the sweet fragrances of select blooms. As an Eco House, we’re mindful of our environment; even our quaint pool is free from chemicals and soaps. For those less accustomed to the island climate, air conditioning is available to ensure your comfort amidst the tropical ambiance. There are a few (but very good !) restaurants in Santa Fe, the rest is in General Luna Area. Santa Fe is known for its unique empty beaches, its uncrowded surf spots (& sometimes Kitesurf) and the kindness of its people. Our local friends are excellent surf instructors, and will be available for you if you're craving for surf lessons, at the beach right in front of the property. Being in the middle of wildlife, you may encounter jungle sounds at night, and experience the visit of some friendly bugs, insects sometimes frogs or the neighbors friendly dogs who wander through from time to time as you may find everywhere else in the island. Casa Alegria has been designed to be at its cosiest for a couple of lovebirds / friends. However, it is possible to share the space for 2 additional people thanks to the pulling off bed if you want to live the experience in group. There are enough facilities and seating for more persons, so feel free to bring some friends for sunset drinks at the house ! Guests will enjoy complete privacy and exclusive use of the property, which is securely enclosed with its own gate. Immerse yourself in personal luxury with a private pool, outdoor kitchen, and bathrooms that are yours alone to enjoy. We now provide Starlink Powered Internet which usually goes over 100 Mbps. While nestled a short distance from the main road, ensuring peace and seclusion, we recommend our guests consider renting a motorbike or scooter for easy access to the house. However, it's not a necessity, as the house is within walking distance of delightful restaurants and the beach. Transport from the airport is a breeze; convenient vans are available to bring you directly to our doorstep for just 400 PHP per person. Should you wish to explore the island at your own pace on a scooter, kindly inform us beforehand, and we will happily facilitate rental arrangements for you.
