La Marquise is an exquisitely decorated 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat in an oceanfront building in the heart of Condado. While the unit itself offers city views, the building places you just steps from the sand and within walking distance to top restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques. For added convenience during your stay, a washer and dryer are tucked away in the hallway closet. Step into this modern, spacious unit and enjoy a thoughtfully designed layout featuring two comfortable bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a cozy living and family area, and a full modern kitchen perfect for home-cooked meals or light snacks between outings. The décor combines elegance and comfort, making it ideal for both short getaways and longer stays. Enjoy access to premium amenities including a pool, tennis court, gym, and beach access. We also provide beach chairs so you can fully relax and enjoy the vibrant Condado shoreline. A prime location, location, location—this gem offers everything you need for a relaxing and convenient stay in San Juan! IMPORTANT NOTE: AMENITIES UNDER RENOVATION - The common areas of this building are under renovation. It is undergoing cosmetic changes to improve its aesthetic appeal without significantly altering its structural integrity. You will be able to use the pool, tennis court, gym, and beach access. However, the laundromat, pool tables, and ping pong tables are currently unavailable. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS - Master Bedroom: Queen-size bed, TV, ensuite bathroom and large closet space. - Second Bedroom: Two twin-sized beds, TV, and ensuite bathroom (accessible via the kitchen area as well). The two full bathrooms have standing showers and modern fixtures PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability. KITCHEN The kitchen at La Marquise features sleek black cabinetry, elegant white stone countertops, a full-size refrigerator and freezer, oven, microwave, and coffee maker—all designed with both style and functionality in mind. A central island with three counter stools offers extra seating and blends seamlessly into the open-concept living and dining area. Just beside the kitchen, the dining space includes a round table for four and is beautifully lit by a statement accent ceiling lamp, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for meals and gatherings. GETTING AROUND & PARKING We recommend moving around via Uber if staying within the general San Juan/Metro area. If you plan to rent a car to explore the island, this property includes parking for one (1) vehicle. LOCATION La Marquise is located in Condado, Puerto Rico. This is considered a prime location in San Juan. From La Marquise, you are a 3-5-minute walk away from the sand, and within walking distance of some of the best dining options, Puerto Rico has to offer. Forget the rental car because from here you can walk or Uber to everything! The apartment is approx. 10 minutes from the airport, restaurants, parks, supermarkets, pharmacies, and shops, all within walking distance. There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites: 1. Chill at the beach! It is one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico and a must-do if you stay at La Marquise. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and a cooler for a long day at the beach. 2. The waterfront area near Condado del Mar has plenty of restaurants offering beautiful views of the ocean. You can enjoy local Puerto Rican cuisine, fresh seafood, and cocktails while watching the sunset. 3. Condado is known for its high-end shopping and boutique stores. You can explore the nearby Condado Shopping Center for luxury brands and local stores. 4. Condado offers a lively nightlife scene with plenty of bars, clubs, and lounges to enjoy after sunset. 5. Lunch or dinner at La Placita de Santurce, a local market with 20+ restaurants and awesome nightlife. We love Santaella restaurant, which offers local cuisine with a modern approach and is in La Placita. 6. Explore Calle Loiza, which is blocks from the apartment. This up-and-coming hip street is littered with funky dining and shopping options. Start off with a margarita at Acapulco and head down the strip stopping at Sabrina or Azucena for sophisticated Puerto Rican food. 7. Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship. We can help coordinate tours to this destination. 8. Spend a day in Old San Juan. La Marquise is a 10 min Uber ride from the oldest city in the US. There is a lot of history to be seen and great food, drinks, and shopping to enjoy! STARTER AMENITIES At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay. All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include: - 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom) - 3 garbage bags - 1 roll of paper towels - 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom) - 1 dish soap - 1 dish sponge - A small amount of laundry detergent Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay. Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation. HOUSE RULES RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed. NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated. NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors. UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 4 adults/children at all times, including visitors. OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund. TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items. TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated. SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that. If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule. If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival. Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you. TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues. Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased.
