About the Home
Our fabulous home is cheery, equipped, and in a great location with easy access to all of the DC highlights. Stay here to get a local's experience, and skip the hotel room -- you won't miss it! Enjoy this newly furnished space that's tastefully appointed with modern decor and full of all of the amenities you'll need to feel right at home. This rental is an entire private 3-bedroom townhome conveniently located only steps from the ever-popular H Street Corridor. You can find everything from a Whole Foods supermarket and great restaurants to shopping and great shows at some of the most well-known venues. Beautifully appointed and spacious, there's plenty of room to spread out as needed while at the same time space for everyone in your group to gather in the living area. There are 2 bathrooms, both with a shower that our cleaners keep impeccably clean. Whether you're in town for work or play, our place is accommodating and conveniently located to suit everyone's needs. Looking forward to hosting you real soon!
Good to know
As the property's located in the city, we recommend bringing a pair of earplugs if you're a sensitive sleeper. We have a strict absolutely no smoking policy, in conjunction with Airbnb and we will charge a $200 cleaning fee due immediately if we find traces of smoking in the house and/or smoking related debris on the deck/yard and any areas of the house and the yards. This policy also includes no smoking of E-Cigarettes inside the house however you are free to smoke outside as long as there is no debris left and fire hazard to the house and neighbors. A $200 fee will be charged for violating the house rules, specifically for hosting parties, events, or celebrations, or for failing to observe quiet hours between 10 PM and 8 AM, as these policies are in place to ensure the comfort of all guests and maintain a peaceful environment for the neighborhood. Booking & Guest Verification Notice To help ensure a safe and respectful stay for our guests and neighbors, reservations may be subject to additional verification prior to check-in. Guests may be asked to provide a valid government-issued ID and additional information related to their stay. Parties, events, and unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited. All reservations must comply with the property's occupancy limits and house rules. Local Guest Policy To help protect the property and maintain a safe environment for our guests and neighbors, we do not accept reservations from local guests residing within the surrounding area. Local reservations may be subject to cancellation. If you are a local resident and believe your stay may qualify for an exception, please contact us prior to booking. • Please be courteous to the neighbors living around you at ALL times by keeping noise volumes to a reasonable level. From 10 PM - 8 AM please adhere to very strict quiet hours when noise is to be kept at a minimum. • Please do NOT flush anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products, baby wipes, contraceptives, nor paper towels should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that any of these items have been flushed and clog the plumbing system you could be held responsible for the cost of repair. • ABSOLUTELY NO Smoking or vaping of any kind inside of the suite. • ABSOLUTELY NO gatherings causing excessive noise. No guests allowed on the premises that have not been added to the reservation guest count. • Have an AMAZING stay (: **Late checkout may be allowed as long as a minimum 1 hour notice is given and permission is granted. As each turnover is scheduled around our cleaning team and the next guest’s arrival, an unapproved late departure can create significant disruption. If there is a late checkout without prior notification or permission, fees will apply.
The Neighborhood
H Street NE, a dynamic one-and-a-half mile stretch in Northeast DC, is known for its nightlife, restaurants, pop-ups, festivals and communal atmosphere. Centered on its namesake street, H Street NE is a tight-knit neighborhood with an artsy vibe, quirky bars, hip eateries and independent designer shops. The Atlas Performing Arts Center presents films, concerts and plays in a 1930s movie theater. The weekly farmers’ market sells seasonal produce and handmade goods, and in the fall, the H Street Festival buzzes with live music and local street food. In this up-and-coming zone, find food hall Union Market, trendy restaurants and historic sites like Gallaudet University, which also is only a few minutes walk from our home. It's the nation’s first college for deaf and hard-of-hearing students, and National Public Radio. "NoMA" - stretching from Union Station to the south and Q and R streets NE to the north, this rapidly developing area takes its name from its location north of Massachusetts Avenue NE. It is best known as a transportation hub and the home of Union Market, a restored grocery and specialty food hall that’s at the epicenter of DC’s gourmet scene.
