This truly romantic Rome terrace penthouse will make your visit to Rome truly unforgettable. On the fifth floor of a building (without a lift), and surrounded by fantastic views from windows facing every direction. You will also have a little terrace to enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings. This penthouse is the ideal choice for couples who would like to experience la dolce vita in Rome! The apartment is private and isolated. It is protected from the noisy night life, as the terrace is inward-facing to the surrounding buildings. Once in the apartment, you first enter a beautifully decorated lounge area. Here you can relax after a long day of exploring Rome. You will also find a comfortable sofa on which an adult or 2 children can also sleep. There is also a decorative fireplace, a standing floor lamp and a cozy bench with pillows. To your right there is also a sunny terrace with separate seating and a little table – an ideal spot for a dinner or an evening drink, overlooking the roofs of Trastevere, Gianicolo hill, and even the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica! The bright, air-conditioned bedroom with a double bed is the best part of the terrace penthouse. With windows on three of the four walls it has a lot of light, and just imagine waking up to a picture frame of St. Peter’s Basilica, realizing it is an actual window view! You will feel like you are sleeping above the clouds with wonderful panoramas surrounding you. There are also two sitting areas here – a wooden dining table for four and a coffee table with two chairs. On one of the walls there is a flat screen TV. If you prefer to cook your own meals, a fully equipped kitchen is available for your use. There is a gas stove, a microwave, a fridge, a toaster, a tea kettle and all the necessary utensils and kitchenware. The bathroom has a shower cabin, a toilet with bidet, and a sink. There is also a whole additional wardrobe room for your luggage, so if you have a special event to attend while staying in the Eternal City, you can hang your evening dress and tuxedo inside. This apartment lies in the very heart of a vibrant area of Trastevere, and is just next to the river. Trastevere is charming by day, and lively at night. You can wander around its tiny medieval streets, grab some slice pizza and to a piazza to people watch. Alternatively, head up its Gianicolo hill, and the Piazzale Garibaldi. This is a great place to sit and admire the sunset over the St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City. Heading across the river you can head to Campo de’ Fiori, which hosts a daily morning market selling fresh and local produce. Venturing a little further you will come across the Piazza Navona, and the majestic Pantheon just to the right of this. This area is also amazing in the evenings, and fills with people catching up over an aperitivo. Trastevere lies alongside the river, and benefits from the many bus services that also run along this way.
