Countess Eleonore Louise Albertine von Schlieben-Sanditten married a German baron at the age of 22, gave birth to her only daughter, and became a widow when she was just 24 years old. She thrived as a single mother and raised her daughter in a time when the country was a male-dominated patriarchy. Never doubting herself, she got through by running an estate and playing music for the Queen of Prussia. Thus, she managed to keep her status as a lady of German nobility. The gorgeous Baroque moldings on the ceiling make us feel that we’re seeing the typical white curls of the wigs used by the nobility of the time. A King Size bed with linens of exquisite quality could be envied by the royals themselves. A window with a thick black frame reminds us of the European castles that our protagonist walked through. An armchair lined in white and gold makes us feel like royalty sitting on a throne. The gold color of the bed cushions pairs perfectly with this piece. Plus, you’ll find pastel-toned fine china crockery and decorations for teatime or a European breakfast. A mini bar, a Smart TV and a small drawer will fulfill all your needs.
