About the Home

The farm has a designated campsite area, but I’m flexible about where you choose to camp. You can set up in the campsite located in the center of the farm, although it does not have water or electricity, (or between the crops) or you can camp in the picnic area, where there is electricity, a sink for washing dishes, and it is close to the bathrooms. There are 2 bathrooms in the picnic area, along with some chairs and tables, and partial lighting at night that you can turn off if you prefer. There is also a rustic outdoor kitchen with a gas stove, a wood fire pit area, and a sink, as well as a refrigerator and microwave, plus a rustic dining area, (also another full exterior bathroom) The location is just steps from the beach since we are located right in front of the ocean. Walking from the property, you can reach the hiking trail at the Punta Vientos Reserve, with beautiful natural tide pools. The base price listed is for 1 to 4 people, with a maximum capacity of 15 guests in the area (regardless of the number of tents set up). The area will be reserved exclusively for your group. This is a rustic space, part of a farm, so there may be mosquitoes, ants, and other insects; therefore, you should come prepared, as you would when camping in any natural environment. At night, you will hear the sounds of crickets and the endemic coquí frogs in the area. On the farm, we have 1 dog named Brownie and 2 cats (sometimes 3 or 4) who are very friendly and will come to greet you. We also have chickens, ducks, geese, and iguanas, depending on the season. If you camp during weekdays, you may see employees working on the farm; they are there to assist you, and I may also be around the property. If you need anything, we’ll be happy to help. We also have a small farm area with two piglets named Toci and Neta that you can feed, and a sheep named Patricio. Make yourself at home.

Good to know

It's a working farm, and we work from Monday to Friday. If you're enjoying your stay on weekdays, there's a good chance you can chat with me or my employees about our crops and way of life. Away from the camping area, but within the same farm, there are other Airbnb units that have their private areas such as pools and terraces. However, these areas and Airbnb units are not part of this reservation or stay. This listing is solely for the camping area and includes what is mentioned in the ad. The use of fireworks is not permitted. Access to visitors or individuals not included in the reservation is not allowed. Pets cannot be brought without prior authorization. We reserve the right of admission. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation if the rules of the place are not followed, and in the event of such cancellation, no refunds will be issued.

The Neighborhood

The neighborhood is located in the town of Patillas, and the area is known as "JACABOA". It is a rural agricultural and fishing sector where the mountains meet the coast and beaches. There are many restaurants nearby, as well as fish markets, rivers, and beaches to visit.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to: 1- Private camping area in the center of the estate (electric generator allowed). 2- Water access with a small double sink for washing dishes or other items. 3- Picnic area with tables, electricity, and bathrooms with showers. (The picnic area is about 30 steps away from the camping area) 5- Access to the campsite by car, you can park next to it if desired. (If it's going to rain, it's recommended to use 4x4 vehicles) since the road is unpaved. 6- Access to the Caribbean Sea and its coast; you can walk from the site to Punta Vientos Reserve, kiosks, and other points of interest. 7- A countryside atmosphere on a local farm, with local people.
