Kap and Tiare will be your hosts living next door in a separate house. They are a great representation of what makes La'ie, Hawai'i such a unique place. Tiare was born and raised on O'ahu, while Kap was raised in Samoa. Bringing both of their unique perspectives together, they invite you to share in the cultural traditions that give their life purpose — all while staying in one of the most beautiful places in the world. The location offers close proximity to beautiful beaches on the North Shore, The Polynesian Cultural Center (just across the street), great local surf spots, the La'ie Hawaii Temple, BYU-Hawaii, and several other culturally significant places on the island.
About the Home
We have two beautiful, newly renovated units.. Choose to rent out one or both! There is a door that can be opened or locked to connect the units. Enjoy the views of the Pacific Ocean and nearby Ko'olau mountains just steps out the door from each unit. You're right on the beach! Each room features a queen size bed, a loft with three queen size beds (perfect for big families!), private bathroom, kitchenette, fast wifi, work desk, air conditioning, and hot water. This unique stay is hosted by Kap, Tiare, and family who lives next door. This allows the privacy of your own building, while also providing opportunities to interact and engage with the family if you choose. We would love to share a meal, teach you the language, or have you join us for a traditional ceremony.

Conveniently located near many of the most popular destinations in Oahu, the Outpost couldn’t be in a better location. Across the street from the Polynesian Cultural Center, minutes away from Oahu’s most popular beaches on the fabled North Shore, and yet tucked away on a beautiful, quiet, secluded beach. Staying at the Outpost will give you time to connect to the natural world and disconnect from the stressful environment that dominates other popular destinations, such as Waikiki.
