Key Colony Beach is located at MM 53.5 at the northern end of Marathon. The Islands of Marathon span about 15 miles in the Middle Keys, halfway between Key West and Key Largo. The historic Island of Pigeon Key is located at the north end of the 7-mile bridge with its 65-foot high span.
