Less than 5 miles to the Polynesian Cultural Center, Hawaii’s #1 paid attraction, draws millions of visitors annually with their world-class entertainment, learning, shows, and luaus. There is a Longs drugstore and two grocery stores in the area. Five minutes away, Laie Beach Park has great year round larger waves for body surfing. Turtle Bay Resort Golf Courses/Restaurants and World Famous North Shore Surfing Beaches a short drive away. If it's winter, along the North Shore you'll be treated to 30 to 40-foot tall waves and some of the world's best surfers. You'll also find Waimea Bay and the beautiful Waimea Falls Park with its sacred sites, waterfall and wonderful hula dancers. Or drive a few more miles to the quaint town of Haleiwa and its many art galleries, boutiques and restaurants.
