As if Long Bay beach was not enough, the world-renowned Grace Bay is less than two miles away, with an array of luxury fine dining restaurants, bars and shops to tempt the most demanding visitor. If retail therapy doesn’t appeal, and golf is your bag, the Providenciales course is a short, 2.5 mile drive away, or you may be tempted by the Blue Haven yacht marina, slightly further (4 miles) along the coast. This protects you if there is accidental damage of up to $5,000 to the property during the stay UTILITIES The cost of electricity in the Turks & Caicos Islands has always been very expensive. This is further exacerbated by recent global increases in fuel pricing, which have put this cost at an all-time high. All guests are asked to be mindful of their energy consumption, particularly when using the Air Conditioning (AC). If running the AC, please ensure doors and windows remain closed. The owner of your vacation rental will cover up to $75.00/day (seventy-five US Dollars) for electricity consumption. On the last day of this rental, the meter will be read, and any amount over this allowance will be charged to the lessee's card on file at a rate of $0.60 per KWH. Beach and Shoreline Conditions As with all Caribbean beaches, shoreline conditions may vary throughout the year. Seasonal sargassum seaweed may occasionally wash ashore, with conditions influenced by weather patterns and ocean currents.
