Or if you enjoy a nice walk, you can walk to 5th Avenue and to downtown in about 15 minutes. It's about .9 miles | 1.7 km to the start of the south end of 5th Avenue, just outside the entrance to Playacar. This spacious third-floor condo features a sunny living space with comfortable living room area with couches and a flatscreen TV. The vaulted ceilings and colorful decor make the living area feel especially large. The condo comfortably sleeps 6 guests in 2 private bedrooms and both bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms with showers! The layout is as such: BEDROOM 1 - 1 Queen bed BEDROOM 2 - 2 Double beds Whip up a meal anytime with the fully-equipped kitchen with all the appliances including a toaster, coffee maker and blender (perfect for afternoon adult beverages!) You'll have all the cookware, dishes, utensils and glassware you'd need for a proper sit-down meal. There's a great dining table to seat 6 comfortably to stay in and eat when you don't feel like going out and a breakfast bar with 3 barstools at the kitchen counter. Ready to catch some rays? Head to the private balcony, which is furnished with chaise lounge chairs and a table for 4 for outdoor dining. The apartment also has iron, ironing board and a hairdryer for added convenience. Chac Ha is located within Phase II of the Playacar development, which contains a small shopping center, an aviary and a number of resorts, condos and luxury villas. It's close to all the action of downtown Playa del Carmen but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, the Chac Ha condominiums provide the ideal vacation experience. Plus, the Hard Rock Riviera Maya golf course is inside Playacar, a 2-min walk from the condo and it provides beautiful views but awesome if you're a golfer! Downtown Playa del Carmen is easily accessible by car (about an 8-10-minute drive), where you’ll find highlights like Fifth Avenue, numerous restaurants and great shopping. You can walk there in 15-20 minutes too it's about 1 mile from the condo. Searching for a little adventure? Take a short drive to the Mayan archaeological sites (such as Chichen Itza, Tulum or Cobá) or to the X-parks/eco-theme parks of Xcaret and Xplor. Maybe Rio Secreto and the underground caverns or visit a cenote! These are unique to this area, they are freshwater sinkholes, like a mystical underworld, you can snorkel or scuba in many of them. There are several accesses to the beach inside the gated complex. The closest is near the entrance gate on Avenida 10. Follow the path past the Mayan Ruins, and you’ll see parking for bikes only. Parking for motorcycles and cars is not permitted. You can also access through the hotels when you buy a day pass. The condo is on the third floor and is accessible by stairs only. We supply a few essentials to make you feel more at home when you arrive: drinking water, soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. Just please note that these items are not replenished during your stay. When you run out, you'll need to purchase more. Also, all food items are removed after each guest checks out, so if you intend to cook at home, you'll want to pick up all you'll need at the store including condiments like oil, salt/pepper, etc. Additional services: We can also help you with other arrangements like airport transfers, tour info, weekly cleaning service, a pack-n-play crib, and many more services. All of these services can be booked prior to your arrival with extra fee. We are here to help you relax during your vacation. Just let us know in advance! Electricity is not included for long term stays of 28 days or more. A meter reading will be recorded on the day of your arrival and then again on the day of your check out. Electricity for long term stays are charged a fixed rate of $5.22 pesos per kwh. The consumption will be charged through the booking platform or deducted from your security deposit. A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met. House Rules: - Travelers must be at least 23 years of age or older to book. - No smoking of any kind (tobacco or cannabis) is allowed in the house and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $200 penalty. - No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors. - No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property. - Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or necessary extra-cleaning charges if it's needed after their stay. - Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during your stay. - Please avoid moving furniture. - Pets are not allowed at this property. - Please avoid hanging towels or clothes on the balcony/terrace railings. - It is requested to use the safe box for all your valuables. We will not be held responsible for any loss or theft. - Pool and common area regulations and opening hours have to be respected. The use of musical devices in common areas is prohibited. All glassware and bottles, food or coolers are not allowed in the pool. You may use disposable or plastic glasses. - If you're booking from a channel where we handle payments, you'll be charged a security deposit of $300 USD which will be refunded after your check-out accordingly (service fees may apply). - Playacar Administration enforces the following traffic fines: 1. Leaving cars on roads without information: $1,000 2. Wrong-way driving: $10,000 3. Speeding: $1,500 4. Animal abuse/wildlife damage: $5,000 5. Minors under 16 driving: $5,000 6.
