Bus access is great whether you want to visit our capital city Valletta, walk through our beautiful villages, or hop on a boat from Cirkewwa to spend a few hours on our sister island. Nature enthusiasts are in for a treat. Malta’s natural reserves include the Majjistral Nature and History Park and the Ghadira Nature Reserve, which you can visit. The Foresta 2000 Riserva and Koperattiva Rurali Manikata also make an interesting day trip where you can learn about local agriculture, trees and flora with farmers; plus a visit to some archaeological remains. You can also head into the woodland at il-Mizieb or along the rugged coast at Marfa Ridge, locally known as L-Ahrax, or Selmun with its view of St Paul’s Islands.
