Four full baths, a large, private master suite with fabulous views, and a gourmet kitchen place this vacation rental home above the rest. To ensure your safety, it is critical that during November 1st - April 30th your brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires need to be properly inflated and the tread must be in excellent condition. Always carry tire chains, even if driving an AWD/4WD vehicle. Make sure the chains are the proper size for your tires and are in working order. During snowy conditions, you will need a 4WD or AWD with chains and mud/snow tires to ascend the steep driveway. The upper driveway has a heated snow melt system, but depending on the amount of snowfall, it may not be immediately accessible. Snow plow service occurs once daily when there is an accumulation of 6 inches of new snow. Always back vehicles into the garage so you can drive forward down the driveway.
