About the Home
This single-level villa feels calm and spacious, with a relaxed layout where you can come together and still have your own space. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, stove, plates and cutlery, wine glasses, cookware, a dishwasher and a fridge. The dining table is right there, so cooking and eating flow easily together. There’s children’s tableware for little ones. Four bedrooms sleep eight. Bed linen is ready on arrival, and there’s storage so suitcases and clothes stay neatly out of sight during your stay. There are three bathrooms, so everyone can freshen up without fuss. For convenience, you have a washing machine and a dryer — handy for longer stays or a quick wash after a day outside. Outside is a garden with a terrace and seating, with outdoor furniture for relaxed reading or dining together when the weather plays along. You enter via a private entrance — nice when you’re traveling with family or friends.
Good to know
Take the kids to Terra Maris in Oostkapelle. Inside you learn about Zeeland’s nature; outside you wander the large museum garden. During school holidays there are often children’s activities — worth checking in advance. From Kasteel Westhove, head into the woods and follow the paths through De Manteling van Walcheren toward the beach. At low tide you can search the tideline for shells and spot tiny crabs. End a beach day at Strandpaviljoen Berkenbosch on Oostkapelle beach. It’s a relaxed spot for an early meal with children, with sea views while the sand is still between your toes.
The Neighborhood
The nature reserves De Manteling and Oranjezon are directly near Oostkapelle. For history lovers, the 12th century Westhove Castle is a real must-see. There is a main street with stores and restaurants nearby. But you are also close to Domburg and Middelburg. Our personal favorite: Playing a match of Padel.
Guest Access
You can park for free at the accommodation; street parking is also possible. Pets are not allowed. The home is single-level and has a private entrance. For practical details about arrival and access, check your Boarding Pass.
