After exploring nearby beaches and local spots, you return to a bright, comfortable space designed for both downtime and connection. Living spaces The home opens into an airy upstairs layout where natural light fills the space, creating an easygoing setting for gathering or unwinding. A sunroom adds an extra spot to relax, while a Smart TV and books and reading material offer simple entertainment indoors. For work or study, a dedicated workspace with a monitor is set up in a room with a door, giving you a place to focus when needed. Kitchen & dining A spacious kitchen makes it easy to cook and share meals during your stay. The dining table seats 8, with additional counter seating for 4, offering plenty of room to gather. With a full kitchen setup, coffee maker options, and a hot water kettle, mornings and evenings can unfold at your own pace. Sleeping arrangements The master bedroom features a king-sized, memory foam mattress for restful nights. A second bedroom includes a bunk bed with a twin-sized mattress and a futon that converts into a full-sized bed, making it a flexible space for different sleeping arrangements. In the downstairs bedroom, a TV is available for gaming or connecting personal devices, creating a fun setup for winding down. Bathrooms & comfort Two bathrooms provide space to refresh, with one featuring a curtain-enclosed design within the open layout. Please note there is a small step in the bathroom area. Central air conditioning and central heating, along with ceiling and portable fans, help keep the home comfortable year-round. Bathroom essentials, a bathtub, and an outdoor shower are available for added convenience. Outdoor living Step outside to enjoy the private patio or balcony, outdoor furniture, and a hot tub available all year. A BBQ grill is also provided, and the shared backyard offers an open grassy space. The home is just minutes from the beach, with shared beach access nearby, making it easy to enjoy the coastal setting. Family-friendly features Traveling with children is made easier with a crib, Pack ’n play/travel crib, high chair, children’s dinnerware, and a selection of toys, board games, and books suited for a range of ages. Location Set along Little Bay Avenue, the neighborhood blends waterfront calm with access to Norfolk’s attractions. You’re a short drive from restaurants, parks, cultural sites, and the Norfolk Naval Base, with Virginia Beach and shopping outlets within easy reach. Additional notes Free parking on premises and free street parking are available, along with self check-in using a keypad. The property is pet-friendly and suitable for longer stays. Exterior security cameras are present at the front entrance. A separate carriage house Airbnb is located at the rear of the property, and some outdoor areas are shared. Note: A Carriage House Airbnb is located in the rear of the property. Please note that the bathroom area has a small step up and down, so we just ask guests to take a little extra care when moving around. The bathroom area is enclosed with curtains for privacy but it’s important to note it is not fully separated by walls from the rest of the space. Additionally, you will be reimbursed $20 for each night of your stay that the amenity is not operational unless your party is responsible for causing the issue. Smoking Policy: You’re welcome to smoke outside the property in designated outdoor areas. We kindly ask that you clean up afterward and properly dispose of cigarette butts to help keep the space tidy and pleasant for everyone.
