The rooms are equipped with bed linen and a wardrobe, so you can easily store your belongings and settle in straight away. Thanks to its layout, this villa is also ideal for those travelling with children. There are two bathrooms. A washing machine and tumble dryer are at your disposal, handy for a longer stay or after a day by the water. Outside, you’ll find a garden with seating areas and a waterside terrace, accessible via the sliding door from the living room. This terrace is not fully enclosed. Upstairs, there’s an additional terrace with views over Lake Veere, perfect for a quiet moment in the morning or at sunset. You share a jetty with the neighbouring property; the swimming ladder makes a refreshing dip very tempting. The location is rural and right on the water’s edge, giving the stay a peaceful atmosphere.

Dive into the fishing village’s history at Museum Arnemuiden on the Markt; you’ll see traditional dress, ship models and stories that bring the village to life. In the mood for water? Rent a canoe or SUP at Kanoa Outdoor & Events in Wolphaartsdijk on the Veerse Meer and paddle past the sheltered islets; early evening is often quieter. Take a city trip to Middelburg: at the Zeeuws Museum in the Abbey you can admire 16th-century tapestries, then settle in at Brasserie De Drvkkery in the bookshop on the Markt.
