There are 2 formal bedrooms and sleeping areas for up to 10 people. The base price of $475 per night covers up to 6 people with $50/person thereafter. We welcome families and friends to our home, but parties of any kind are prohibited. This stunning 1939 English Tudor located in historic Lakeview Estates is available for vacation rental for the first time ever. The home is nestled on a private 1.5 acre lot overlooking picturesque Beaver Lake, providing stunning waterfront views from almost every room. Designed by renowned architect S. Grant Alexander, this home is a true masterpiece. From the impressive brick exterior to the arched doorways and intricately detailed woodwork throughout the interior, this house is unique among Asheville homes. This 4,000sf home accommodates up to 10 people in 2 formal bedrooms, and various sleeping areas throughout the house: Bedroom 1 - king bed, dresser; full bathroom and TV Bedroom 2 - 2 queen beds, dresser, full bathroom, TV Lounge/Living Room 2 (2nd floor) - IKEA couch/queen sleeper sofa, TV, full bathroom shared with Bedroom 2 Bonus living room (1st floor) - sleeper sofa, TV, 1/2 bath Also located on the 2nd floor is a 640sf Game room/multi-purpose room that features a queen size sleeper sofa, TV, desk, sink, washer/dryer. Please note that you must walk through either the bedroom or lounge to reach the multi-purpose (Game room). On the main level (approx 2,194 sf) is the foyer, living room, dining room, family/entertainment room, half-bath, bonus room with a sleeper sofa and a sunroom looking out to the lake. The rooms are spacious with beautiful high ceilings and chandeliers. In contrast, the kitchen is relatively small but well-stocked. The yard is stunning, with hundreds of landscaped plants and trees and guests can walk easily to Beaver Lake, nearby paths, and the bird sanctuary. A bus stop is at the near corner on Lakeshore Drive. Although nestled in a tranquil and natural setting, restaurants, shopping and amenities are less than a mile away. We welcome your furry friends. They must be well-behaved and never left in the home unattended. One pet may be reserved through the AirBnB booking system. Additional pets may be considered with advance request. Note that there is a pet guest fee of $35 per night per pet with a $150 minimum which is covered. at the time of your reservation. The balance is paid directly.
