Tucanes #12 is a two-bedroom condo within walking distance of the beach and the local dining, shopping, and nightlife in the vibrant town of El Coco. This single-level condo is located on the third floor of a beautiful condominium unit at the top of several flights of stairs, but the climb is rewarded with panoramic views of the sparkling ocean and lush mountains surrounding Playas del Coco! This spacious 925 sq. ft. (86 m²) condo features a vibrant design, with colorful local artwork in the living room, as well as a brand-new 55" flat-screen TV and a ceiling fan. The modern kitchen is designed with high-end granite countertops and appliances, including a range, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a freezer. The kitchen also includes a sleek breakfast bar with four barstools. This condo can sleep four guests between the master bedroom’s comfortable queen-sized bed and the second bedroom’s two twin beds. The master bedroom is also equipped with a flat-screen TV. The condo features two bathrooms, one full bathroom with a shower for the guests in both bedrooms to share, and one half bathroom with a toilet and sink. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit, and each room has a new ceiling fan. The entire condo is air-conditioned and offers internet access. This top-floor condo’s highlight is the stunning wrap-around balcony that offers panoramic views of the beach, ocean, and mountains surrounding Playas del Coco! The balcony includes an outdoor dining table with four chairs and a barbecue grill — perfect for al fresco meals in the warm sunshine. One of the perks of staying at Tucanes #12 is access to the community’s amenities, most notably, the community pool with tables, lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a pool bar with a refrigerator that offers spectacular ocean and mountain views. This particular unit is located closest to the pool for quick and convenient access. This gated community also offers parking spaces for owners and guests and 24/7 security. Pet-Friendly Policy We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied. Owners are responsible for their pets' behavior and any damages incurred. Playas del Coco This big town/little city on Costa Rica’s Gold Coast has it all, starting with a gorgeous, blue-green bay dotted with fishing boats, dive boats and sailboats offering sunset tours. In front of the popular beach is a winding promenade with a basketball court and skate park, and the area is rich in hotels, restaurants, bars and stores catering to every need. Known for its vibrant nightlife as much as its chill pace, Playas del Coco claims to have been the first beach town in Guanacaste reachable by road. Its proximity to the Liberia airport is a plus, and it’s even closer to the nearby beach towns of Ocotal and Hermosa. On weekend nights on the main drag, live music and DJ beats pour out of the popular Zi Lounge and Coconutz restaurants (among others). Coco is home to an upscale Auto Mercado grocery store, the exclusive Pacifico resort community and much more. Many foreigners have come to visit and never left. You will be contacted via email, text, or app notification with instructions to complete this process. As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a non-refundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival.
