Welcome to the Myklebust Farmhouse, a charming 1920s home set on a hilltop overlooking the Wisconsin River and Baraboo Bluffs. Surrounded by vineyards and rolling pastures, this peaceful retreat combines old Scandinavian character with modern comfort. We are offering 30+ days stays only from November to April! Inside, you’ll find a bright, welcoming space with unique antiques, cozy furnishings, and all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The farmhouse has been thoughtfully updated while keeping its warm family feel and historic charm. Located at Vennebu Hill Wedding Barn and the Sognefjord Winery, it’s the perfect spot for those travelling for work, looking for mid-term houses, or anyone looking to experience the natural beauty of Wisconsin. Come stay, unwind, and enjoy the breathtaking views from this historic hilltop farmhouse. Accommodations include 5 upstairs bedrooms (one master suite with a King bed and private bath, three Queen bedrooms and one Full size bedroom). Sleeps 10 guests comfortably. There are 3 bathrooms upstairs and a half bath on the first floor. On the first floor there is a front viewing parlor, fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a dining room, a game room and a three season porch. Please note: This property is situated at the Vennebu Wedding and Event Center. A $15 parking fee is required, payable to the event center upon booking. Parking is restricted to designated areas only; parking near the farmhouse or barn is prohibited. Kindly be aware that weddings and events are frequent on weekends during summer and fall. To ensure a pleasant experience for all, we kindly request that guests refrain from playing loud music between 3 PM and 4:30 PM.
