Situated only 2 minutes walk from Pulteney Bridge, this third-floor apartment in the historic Georgian debtor’s Gaol, opened in 1774, offers wonderful views over central Bath. It boasts 2 double bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room and a dining area. There are many nearby attractions including Great Pulteney Street, the Roman Baths and Abbey, the Jane Austin Centre, and the famous Royal Crescent all within a short walking distance. Inside, all is spacious and bright as light shoots in through tall wooden sash windows. The elegant living room nods to its traditional past, with solid oak floors, antique furniture and original art adorning the walls. Admire quirky treasures and trinkets, and eat together around the mahogany dining table with elevated skyline views. Laid-back evenings call for curling up in the armchair with a good book in hand or watching a film on the smart TV.
