The Cottage at Arlington
About the Home
Arlington Cottage invites a slower pace. The fire is on. A game of pool before dinner drifts into a second drink at the bar. Evenings linger, and mornings arrive calmly, without urgency. All whilst moments from Bibury. Tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, the Cottage offers village life at its most peaceful. Set within a small country estate, it can be booked on its own or together with the neighbouring Farmhouse, sleeping an additional six guests. The Cottage sleeps four across two king-size bedrooms. One offers an en suite bathroom with a freestanding bath, a dressing room, and a TV. The second bedroom has its own bathroom just across the hall, creating a sense of space and ease for all guests. Downstairs living is relaxed and welcoming, with a comfortable sitting room, Smart TV, and sound system. The dining room is centred around an open fireplace, while the kitchen is designed for longer stays, complete with a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, and TV. A bar area with a pool table sets the tone for slow evenings, and a shared communal BBQ hut offers a place to come together outside. Step outdoors to a large private patio with dedicated seating, alongside access to the communal BBQ hut for lingering meals and quiet conversation. The Cottage offers a peaceful place to slow down, best suited to families and small groups who appreciate shared time and a calm, respectful atmosphere. It is not designed for parties, and quiet hours are observed, especially during the evening. For added flexibility, the estate can be enjoyed as two separate homes. The Cottage sleeps four guests across two bedrooms and can be booked on its own or alongside the Farmhouse (which sleeps a further six guests) for larger groups wishing to stay close while keeping their own space.
