It was formerly incorporated as a town prior to 1979 when it amalgamated with four other municipalities to form Crowsnest Pass. Blairmore is the principal commercial centre of Crowsnest Pass. Activities in the area: ATVing, hiking, bicycling, hunting, fishing, kayaking. Thousands of eagles migrate over the Pass (observation deck at Frank Interpretive Centre), Mining Tours, authentic shops, Wildlife (moose, bear, sheep, etc.), Waterfalls (lundbreck, Rainbow falls, Star creek), volcanic rock (Frank museum and west of Coleman), Frank museum has a replica of "Black Beauty" (skull of a teenage T-Rex found on the banks of CNP river around the 80's). Powderkeg is an ALL-season playground for skiing (cross country & downhill), snowshoeing, hiking, biking, kayaking and is home to scenic mountain golf course, authentic shops and Heritage sites, etc. We do not charge service fees We understand that accidents can happen during your stay, and we want to ensure that both you and the property are protected. For your peace of mind, we offer two options: 1) Non-refundable Damage Waiver: For a small fee, this waiver covers accidental damages (up to $250) during your stay. 2) Refundable Safety Deposit: A credit card hold, that will be refunded upon a successful property inspection after your stay.
