The Salty Pug spent the winter and spring closed for complete renovation. Summer of 2025 guests are the first to stay at the all new Salty Pug! It is a newly remodeled bayfront home that offers lovely water views, a fresh interior, and access to a community pool. The bay is nice and shallow right with a sandbar 50 feet out from the house, which is perfect for kiddos to splash and play while parents relax in chairs onshore. If you wanted to leave the property, there is a sand area near the community pool as well as a community beach. You can visit the Wright Brothers Memorial and see the hill where the flight occurred, shop local businesses, or spend the day on the beautiful OBX beaches! Payment Schedule: 50% due at confirmation 50% or remaining balance due 30 days before check-in The following violations may be subject to additional fines of up to $300: unregistered pets, late departure without approval by host, & house left excessively messy. The outdoor shower at the property is not functional. The home is stocked with a starter supply of paper products and toiletries to get going, but it is recommended that you bring or purchase more to last for the duration of your stay. High speed Wifi is an amenity that is provided at the property but we cannot guarantee functionality for issues that are beyond our control. Potential Wifi outages will always be handled in a timely manner and resolved to the best of our ability. Unfortunately it is not guaranteed that our solutions will fix the issue and refunds will not be given for Wifi malfunctions.
