Casa Taipas is nestled in Lisbon’s historic Chiado district, known for its artistic flair, charming cafés, and boutique-lined streets. Just steps from Príncipe Real and Bairro Alto, this location blends old-world charm with vibrant city life. Residents enjoy walkable access to cultural landmarks, elegant architecture, and Lisbon’s signature miradouros offering sweeping views over the city. Our properties are self-catering, but we do make all beds up with linen and towels as well as provide basic amenities such as toilet rolls and soaps for a day or two. If you would like to have additional sets of linen or need to hire baby or other equipment, we have an array of amenities we can offer. Please ask us for more information. Alternatively, your guest area will also have these items once you have booked. We are also able to arrange airport transfers and day trips with baby seats if needed. Meet and greet service available for an additional fee (€45.00 for arrivals 20:00-23:00, €60.00 for post-23:00 arrivals). Tourist Tax: Municipalities have introduced Tourist Tax and requires hosts to collect from tourists who stay in tourist accommodation such as hotels, B&Bs or vacation rentals as a contribution to the maintenance of local facilities regardless of nationality. When applicable, it is the host’s responsibility to collect the tax from tourist at the prevailing rate and pass it on to the municipalities/regions. Rates can change from year to year and council to council. Please check your reservation for details. Quiet Hours: 23:00-07:00. Please be considerate.
