Situated in central Texas come and experience the tranquility of Tom's Tackle Box at Cabins On The Rocks Tom's Tackle Box is an omage to my father who loved to fish the Texas coast. All interior finishes are either upcycled material, sourced from the property, or around the hill country and even some from across the pond. We then sourced fixtures and paint from Habitat for Humanities Restore in Austin, San Marcos and New Braunfels. Come enjoy the peace of modern fish camp in the Hill Country set on a half acre over looking Tom Creek Valley in quiet Starzville, Texas. With a King size bed and a full size thick futon, your sleep will be deep and quiet. Equipped with energy efficient, noise reducing windows and door the world outside is but a memory. When outdoors enjoy our hammocks, natural shade and cool hill top breezes. Or hang out by the fire pit or grill either way leave your cares behind. A large table and chairs with umbrella are available for outside meals or just a cool spot the hang out. Cabins on The Rocks is at the end of a private road on top of a hill looking northwest toward Tom Creek. Country setting close to cafes and restaurants. 8-10 minutes from Comal Park, Cranes Mill campground and several south side boat ramps on Canyon Lake. 9 minutes to Guadalupe River access on River Road in Sattler, TX. 10 minutes to Whitewater Amphitheater. 20 minutes to Natural Bridge Caverns. 45 minutes to San Antonio. 1 hour to Austin. 50 minutes to Luckenbach. The cabins are equipped with exterior cameras for your peace of mind and ours. Wildlife is abundant in the area so keep your eyes open to see deer, fox, raccoon, armadillo, and much more.
