Managed by Heavenly Hosts Unwind in the living room with a Smart TV and electric fireplace, or enjoy outdoor gatherings with a charcoal BBQ grill and wood-burning fire pit. For eco-conscious travelers, we offer an EV charger. Other amenities include a washer and dryer for added convenience. Experience privacy and comfort at Twisted Oak – your perfect escape awaits. This cottage is 8.4 miles from downtown Fredericksburg/Main St. - Sleeps 4 - 2 bedrooms: both with king beds - 2 full bathrooms: Master with walk in shower and 2nd hall bathroom with bathtub/shower combo - Robes and slippers provided - Full kitchen with Keurig and regular coffee maker (no ice maker, but we do provide ice trays) - 3 Smart TV's with Roku; located in the living room and both bedrooms - Indoor Electric Fireplace - Outdoor Wood-burning fire pit (BYO Firewood) - Private Hot tub! - BBQ Grill available (BYO Charcoal) - Picnic Table available - EV Charger (Level 2): the charger and adapter are provided, they will be located inside the rental. - Please refrain from climbing the indoor ladder to access the loft area as it is not intended for guest use. BURN BAN EFFECTIVE - Gillespie County Burn Ban is ON, Effective Monday, February 2, 2026: Attached please find a local DECLARATION OF DISASTER & ORDER RESTRICTING OUTDOOR BURNING related to imminent threat of wildfires. Restrictions: NO open fires/burning and NO smoking. As a result, outdoor wood-burning fire pits are NOT permitted. This mandate is enforced by the city and county and is beyond our control. You are welcome to use Gas fire pits and BBQ grills, if applicable. For charcoal grills, please allow all hot coals to cool completely inside the grill before disposing of them. Please review the property listing to confirm the type of fire pit and grill available, if applicable. If it is discovered that the fire pits/chimineas/outdoor fireplaces were used or wood was burned during your stay, a fine starting at $100 will be applied. This is a serious fire safety issue, and we kindly ask that you comply with all city-mandated regulations. Thank you for your understanding! Quiet neighborhood. Owners live up the street from the rental. - This property is suitable for children/infants, all ages. - This property is not pet-friendly. - Pest Control is scheduled quarterly. Due to the house being in the hill country, you will encounter critters. This is common even with pest control treatments. - NO SMOKING ALLOWED. - Security Camera: These are the only 2 security cameras on site. The front door has a Blink camera and only monitors the front porch. Second camera that monitors small back porch as well.
